She also served for two years with the Business Professionals of America and participated in various fundraisers for local food pantries. Academically, Casey focused a lot on foreign language, specifically French, and even served as the Foreign Language Clubâ€™s secretary and treasurer for three years. Hennings utilized her writing skills in the schoolâ€™s poets society, literary magazine, and creating her own personal website/blog.
Ross Kindig is the son of Ryan and Jennifer Kindig of Brook, IN. Ross is a senior at South Newton High School. After graduation Ross plans to attend Purdue University, West Lafayette to pursue a degree in Agronomy. During Kindigâ€™s time at South Newton High School, his academic record has been outstanding with four years of honor roll, achieving National Honor Society and serving as President, and also serving as class President for four years. In addition to excelling academically, Ross spent four years on the South Newton football team, basketball team, and track team. Kindig dedicated a lot of his time to FFA and 4-H related activities and received several awards for his work. In addition to his school work and extracurriculars, Ross was the owner and operator of his own sweet corn business. Kindig also dedicated time to his church youth group and even participated in a mission trip to Puerto Rico.
